I was born in vancouver before it became Vancouverâ„¢, was raised living in tents, trailers, and houses, back and forth between the coast and the Rocky Mountains. There was also time in the Gulf Islands of BC cheating death in childish ignorance.I lived in Toronto and Montreal at different times, but the west brought me back in short order, and for a couple decades I walked around Vancouver wishing it was better than it was while it was actually pretty good. To escape urbanity I made a jump to vancouver island in 2011, and now live by a forest.I have paid the rent working in food service, theatre box offices, phone rooms, nightclubs, and video game studios. Currently I use Geographic Information Systems to pay the bills. The software is slowly killing me, so hoping to leave the industry sooner rather than later.Creatively I poke fun at identity and commercialized creativity, as well as ideas regarding the degradation of information, and life in the dis/information age. If you ask me to explain this I'll likely make up some bullshit answer, and you'll get nowhere.Like a joke, creative efforts are to be made, not explained. Have fun! |
